Bristol - Sorrento

We found that the hotel had fantastic views. The staff at reception, in the dining room and bar were always very attentive at all times and made one really feel at home. The facilities of the hotel were excellent and very well maintained throughout. Overall we really liked the hotel and would highly recommend it.

Location although a 15min walk to the centre of Sorrento the views were absolutely fantastic over the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.

It did not have a Hotel Concierge to inform travelers of tourist sites and local amenities

Excellent throughout...Courtesy and helpfulness of staff..beautiful surroundings ie pool , large veranda,gym ,garden...bedrooms with balcony overlooking the Bay of Naples.Hotel was spotless throughout and the food for both breakfast and dinner was top class.Bacon egg sausage plus all other options available for breakfast.

For us it was perfect but as it is a 12-15 minute walk from town centre it may not suit everyone. Absolutely worth it for the view though!

The amazing views from almost every window.

Restaurants were quite poor and did not make most of amazing views - windows closed and drapes. Pool Bar snacks particularl poor. Reception staff not particularly helpful on giving guidance on places to go.

Bristol is a very good hotel, in a fantastic position. The view from balcony, from the pool, terrace, restaurant is amazing. The services are very good, the personnel excelent.

My husband and I stayed a Bristol for a total of 6 nights. We were supposed to go to Capri for a couple days but my husband injured his foot and we were forced to take a few days off for recovery, so Bristol found us a room two days early. They were very accommodating, showed us the easiest routes to the restaurants an bars within the hotel (to cut down on my husbands walking), and were very understanding of him showing up everywhere with just a sock on one foot. We were in room 630, which had a spectacular view from the balcony and was in a very quite location away from the majority of the hotel traffic. All in all, Bristol was probably the highlight of stay.

Everything! Great location, exceptionally nice and helpful staff and great food. We spent a little more to get a junior suite and it was well worth it. Stunning views and spacious well appointed room. Unfortunately didn't have time to use many of the hotels facilities but they all looked good – pool, gym, gardens.

The location and views are amazing from the hotel.Great choice in buffet breakfast and dinner menu. The room was very clean and the staff very helpful

The double bed was two single beds pushed together.The room was a glorified holiday apartment not a comfortable hotel room.It wasnt great value for money.In our room there was a down pipe boxed off which meant every time some on the floor above us used the toilet or shower we heard the water going down,

Our stay at Hotel Bristol was outstanding! We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations in all respects. The rooms were perfect and the balcony view was magnificent. All the staff were wonderful, especially the gentleman who took care of us in the dining room. It was my husband's birthday and a delicious cake was presented to him at our evening meal. Breakfast was a treat each morning and the two evening meals we had at Hotel Bristol was delicious. If we are fortunate enough to return to Sorrento, we would definitely stay there again. The staff are excellent, and we enjoyed the food. Rooms with a view of Mount Vesuvius are fantastic. great hotel

The hotel facility is absolutely beautiful and is only surpassed by the attentive service of the hotel staff that accommodated our every need. Our room was modern and well appointed. View was from terrace was spectacular. We visited too late in the season to use the roof top pool but were nonetheless impressed with its surroundings and view. The hotel is a short 10 minute walk from the town center but miles away from its chaos.

The view from our room was the best I have ever had anywhere. Spectacular is not good enough.
